Photography, for me, begins with observation.
A camera is a simple instrument, but the act of seeing is not.
Across these series I explore the uncertain boundary between documentation and interpretation. Some images emerge from the street or the landscape, others are manipulated or layered to question photography’s long-standing claim to truth. The work moves between direct observation and constructed reality.
