Lost Days (Study 11)
Lost Days explores the acceleration of time as lived experience.
Unlike the slower, more contemplative pieces in the Pondering Eternity series, this work moves in fragments—flashing calendar pages, passing traffic, compressed motion, and layered visual interruptions. The effect is intentional: a sense of days accumulating without being fully noticed.
Where other movements create space for reflection, Lost Days presents the absence of that space. It asks what happens when attention is fragmented, when movement replaces awareness, and when time is measured only in passing.
This piece functions as a counterpoint within the larger Pondering Eternity project—less about stillness, more about the cost of its absence.

Lost Days
Intro
The days are crowded…
I feel squeezed…
Can’t tell where one ends…
Verse 1
The days are crowded
I feel squeezed
Monday, Tuesday
Fall right past me
Hands stay busy
Life feels full
But I can’t tell
What I missed
Pre-Chorus
Same light, same screen
Same rush in between
Wake up, fall back
Do it all again
Chorus
The days are crowded
So crowded
I feel squeezed
So squeezed
Friday, Tuesday
Thursday, Monday
Oh no… not Monday
The days are crowded
I can’t breathe
Verse 2
Calendar screaming
Loud and bright
Every box filled
No space to write
Minutes slipping
Out my hands
Living life
In Instagram
Pre-Chorus
Round and round
No way out
Hear my name
But not my sound
Chorus
The days are crowded
So crowded
I feel squeezed
I can’t breathe
Monday, Tuesday
Thursday, Friday
Lose myself in the maybe
The days are crowded
I can’t breathe
Bridge
Where did the silence go
Where did I go
Every day loud
But I feel low
If I stop now
Will I disappear
Or finally hear
My own breath here
Lift
Maybe the pressure
Is just a sign
I’m still moving
Through this time
Maybe the squeeze
Is how we grow
Maybe the noise
Is overflow
Maybe the rush
Isn’t the end
Maybe it bends
And bends
Final Chorus
The days are crowded
So crowded
I feel squeezed
But I breathe
Running faster
Learning where
To slow down
And meet me there
The days are crowded
Still crowded
But I breathe
Outro
Don’t know what day it is
Don’t know what week
The days are crowded
I feel squeezed
Don’t know what day it is
Don’t know what week
But I’m still here
