What Did I Just Miss? started with a simple thought: how much of life slips by while we’re focused on getting somewhere else. The song moves from quiet observations to something more personal, more uncomfortable. It’s about the moments that seem small until you realize they were carrying more than you knew.
The lyric that became the center of the song came late in the process: What did I just miss? Once that landed, everything else had to answer to it.
Musically, I wanted movement and tension without losing space. The track leans into groove and forward motion while still leaving room for reflection. Like life itself, it keeps moving whether you’re paying attention or not.
